Bio

I'm Scott Arnold, founder of stand strong ministries in June 2003 and have been singing for about twenty years in local church and have been involved in music ministries for about the same amount of time. I have been the music minister at two church of God in the state of South Carolina, along with doing outreach ministry with one of them in the jails.

Stand Strong ministries has been a trio, solo and duet, not only singing for the Lord, but by promoting some of southern gospel’s best groups to our area in South Carolina.

On a personal note, we love Jesus and want to please him. Call us to come to your church or event to sing. I live in Easley, South Carolina, with my wife, Lisa, and we attend Abundant Grace Church of God.

Janet Nix lives in Abbeville, South Carolina and is a member of Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her father, rev. Boyd Arnold, pastors friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church in Saluda, South Carolina.

Janet loves southern gospel music and singing for the lord. She is very active in her church and teaches Sunday school. She has also been a music minister, as well, at Dean Chappel Pentecostal Holiness Church, also in Saluda. Her husband, Larry, pastored Dean Chappel for four years before God called him home. He died in a car accident in 2004. Janet is a very good singer and is a very important part of this ministry.

Lisa Arnold is our sound lady and also handles a lot of the bookings, mail and keeps Janet and me together. She is a wonderful wife. She is the support that keeps us going. Thank you for taking time to visit us.
